Dr Yousef heads the arbitration practice at Al Yaqout and AlFouzan Legal Group. He is a highly experienced attorney, with experience accumulated over the course of over 27 years.
In addition to practicing law, Dr Yousef has held various prestigious posts that has supplemented his practical experience in law, including being a Professor of Private Law at Kuwait University (2002-2013) and Kuwait International Law School (2014 – present).
Furthermore, he holds a number of board memberships, including the Kuwait Chamber of Commercial Arbitration. He is also a registered arbitrator at the London Chamber of International Arbitration, the Kuwait Bar Association and GCC Commercial Arbitration Centre. Dr Yousef is holder of a LLM Master’s Degree from the University of Aberdeen and a PhD from the University of Glasgow.
