Al-Yaqout and Al-Fouzan Legal Group is proud to have participated as a legal partner in the exclusive event “KUWAIT: Towards a Digital Economy,” held on March 8th at the Four Seasons Hotel. The Business Year (a global media group) organized the event in collaboration with the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA). The event brought together representatives of the private and public sectors to discuss their collaborative opportunities in advancing the country’s business developments to put the Kuwaiti economy in the spotlight of the wider global business community.

2nd panel: Innovation and SMEs as the Backbone of Kuwait’s Growth
The panels discussed how Kuwait’s economy overcame the challenges of the pandemic and set course toward a more sustainable and technologically advanced future.
Our managing partner, Khalifah Al-Yaqout, was invited to speak on the second panel, “Innovation and SMEs as the Backbone of Kuwait’s Growth.” During the panel, he discussed the business environment for SMEs in Kuwait, alongside the legal framework in place. He was joined by Bader Al-Ghanim, Managing Director of Talabat, and Abdulaziz B. Al-Loughani, CEO of Floward.
